New Year's Eve Rocks!!!!

New-Years-Eve-021.jpg

In stark contrast to last New Year's Eve (which I spent at home, with Justin, trying to stretch out my single glass of champagne since I was nursing, while Justin drank the rest of the bottle and fell asleep at 11:30), this New Year's Eve was actually fun. This amazes me, since almost invariable my New Year's Eves suck. Prior to this last one, there were only two exceptions to this. One was the year my parents threw two New Year's Eve parties, an early on and a late one, to accommodate all the people they wanted to invite, and I got to eat immense amounts of party food and play games all night.

The other was the year before I had Jordan when I was living with Ann and we threw our own little party and played Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit and had a bit too much to drink. So, anyway, this year...we paid $50 to go to a local bowling alley. This included free dinner, free drinks all night, free appetizers after midnight, free champagne, and free bowling. We went with my sister and brother-in-law and a bunch of Justin's friends from work and their girlfriends etc. The dinner was really good, I broke 100 in one of my many games of bowling (which for me is amazing), and I drank much more than usual without even having a hang over the next day. Plus we got noisemakers and party hats. Whoo Hoo!!!
