So Much For Good Intentions

So much for good intentions...Almost two months since my last post. I am feeling really un-inspired today, but I thought...What the heck, I'm at work, I'm bored (as usual), might as well do something productive. Lots of Christmas stuff going on. I actually did most of my shopping ahead of time, so I just have a few last minute things to do today and tomorrow. Oh, with the rather glaring exception that Justin asked me to crochet a scarf for his mom's new husband, and I have two days to do that along with all the other stuff. We've got 5 Christmases to do this year, so the schedule is a little tight. Oh well, the more the merrier.

My little boy is officially one year old. I did the whole party thing, and it was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. He got lots of fun new toys, and a tiny little robe, just in time for Christmas gift opening. He got his first hair cut last weekend, and I cried, for some unfathomable reason. I guess just because he's growing up. It certainly wasn't over the loss of his baby mullet. I was waiting to cut his hair because I wanted to see if he'd end up with little blond curls like Justin had when he was little, but we're not making too much progress in that area. He just had a little wispy mullet in back, and nothing on top, except for after every meal, since he feels the need to put food on his head every time he eats. Perhaps he's trying to disguise his baldness the only way he knows how.

Justin and I joined the Princeton Club earlier this month, and I've actually gone at least once a week since. I am sadly out of shape (not that I was ever in shape), and I'm looking forward to having a little bit more energy, maybe getting my stomach back, and trying some Pilates. They're opening up a brand new building in Feb., and I can't wait, it looks huge and gorgeous, especially compared to the dingy one they have in the strip mall right now.

Well, time to go enter assets in the depreciation program...too fun. A Merry Christmas to all!!!
