Randomness

Well, yesterday was my last day at my oh so lovely job at the parking ramp. My mom got all teary-eyed, said it was "the end of an era". My dad also is sad, because he will no longer have the opportunity to buy me lunch two days a week on my break (he worked about a block from the ramp). I, of course, am ecstatic, and can not even imagine the joy of having at least six weeks off of work. My boss actually gave me a $25 gift certificate to Toys R US for the kid and thanked me for working there which both shocked and pleased me.

If Heather is reading this, she will be pleased to know that I do indeed read her bloggy, but I do not watch the Bachelor, and I can not go along with her theory that brunettes are intrinsically better. Also, I mourn the loss of her slippers while imagining how much they probably do smell.

And Clare will be pleased to know that Justin shares her concerns about the amount of Law and Order I watch. Yes, he is truly looking out for me. I did watch Will and Grace tonight, but I did not cry...I don't know what the show is coming to though. I think it is just all wrong for her to be married.

I want to share with everyone that I have a fun new toy now. Justin bought a video camera yesterday, and I am so excited about it. I imagine I will soon have hours and hours  of baby-based footage (NOT the labor, just the baby, and maybe a pre-birth belly shot).

Although I know I have discussed this with several people before, I am re-reading the sequel to Bridget Jones Diary for about the 3rd time, and I just can't believe how stupid it is that they have such dumb misunderstandings and never talk about it. It is one of the greatest books of all time, and I can not read it without practically peeing my pants from laughing (although, I would like to point out that unlike some people, I have not actually peed my pants since the age of 5), but I am just very annoyed by that whole aspect of it.

And a side note, I love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and I love Christmas music. Since we actually had snow that stayed on the ground for several hours this morning, I figure it is now OK to break out the Christmas CD's, and now will also have to spend several hours downloading Trans-Siberian Orchestra songs.
