Clare has given me hope. I was just contemplating taking a while off from my blog. I hardly ever have time to update it, and I don't have much of interest to say. I even was in doubt that it was being read at all. Now I know that Clare, for one, does read it. However, I think I will still take a vote...all in favor of my keeping this blog going, say aye. Otherwise, I think I may stop posting until some future time when I have more free time, and/or more of a life. If, however, you enjoy my infrequent Law & Order/Jordan based rampages, please speak up now, or forever hold your peace.

That said, I did have a bit of excitement this last week. Last Saturday I had breakfast at the Edgewater with my work homies, courtesy of my boss, who unexpectedly whipped out a roll of hundred dollar bills and handed us each one. Gotta love that end of tax season bonus, especially since the day before I had just spent a hundred bucks I didn't actually have at Burlington Coat Factory (the love of my life, especially now that a new one has opened on the West Siiiide) on clothes for work that I desperately needed.

Yes, I know you will all be shocked to hear it, but as a mother, I, Hannah, have become a fashion victim. Hardly any of my clothes fit, and the ones that do don't actually match, which is ok at home when I schlub around in my comfy pants and big T-shirts, but the stuff I wear to work is atrocious - shirts and pants that barely button, all in varying shades of gray and black, except for one new outfit I actually like which I wear up to three times a week. As the sweater has a very distinctive fringe, this is probably not a good idea. So, I splurged on the cutest skirt, two new shirts for spring, and a pair of sandals that, at under $15, I just had to have.

Today, Justin and I went to the bank, and opened a joint checking account, a savings account for Jordan, and invested some money in a CD. I feel like a real adult now, and hopefully, in 30 months, when we can cash in our loot we will be rich bee-atch! (Does anyone else watch Chapelle's Show? I love it I love it I love it, and ha-ha he will be in Madison next Saturday and we have tickets). Then we will buy a house! Hurrah! (I have not just quoted Crank Yankers or anything like that, but taking about Chapelle's Show reminded me - I love Crank Yankers too!)
